Introducing Jack

Jack was born in Brisbane, and started his dance journey learning jazz at age 2. A few years later, and following in his older sister's footsteps, Jack progressed to ballet lessons when he was 4 years old. He soon found he loved performing on stage, and became inspired while watching others on stage and seeing the audiences reaction.

Jack joined Queensland Ballet Academy at age 12 as an Associate Program student and continued into the Senior Program from grade 10-12. He then completed Queensland Ballet Academy's Pre-Professional Program before being accepted as a young artist in 2024.

Did you know...

Jack's interest in Queensland Ballet was first piqued in 2013 when he was selected to perform in The Nutcracker as child. From the age of 10 he knew he wanted to perform on stage as a Queensland Ballet artist.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
