Queensland Ballet is one of the Asia-Pacific’s foremost classical ballet companies, led by Artistic Director, Li Cunxin. Our dancers are acclaimed for their technical and artistic excellence, and our annual program offers world-class productions of the best classical ballets and inspired contemporary dance works.

Registrations for Company and Young Artist Auditions close Monday 14 August, 2023.
Please note that you will need to upload a copy of your CV/resume, a recent headshot and full length photo upon registration for auditions. Applicant must be in a classical dance position for full length photo; arabesque, a la seconde, écarté, etc. (en pointe for the ladies)
Jette Parker Young Artist program
Queensland Ballet’s Jette Parker Young Artist program is an immersive, year-long apprenticeship program for gifted young dancers who are at the start of their professional careers.
Those looking to join the Jette Parker Young Artist program are required to audition alongside those auditioning as Company Artists.

Queensland Ballet Academy is passionate about developing the artists of the future, providing a clear career pathway through intensive training, to produce young ballet dancers whose talent and ability are internationally sought-after.
