Amelia Waller

Amelia Waller danced as a soloist with the Queensland Ballet Company for 8 years before moving to Germany where she joined Leipzig Ballet as a soloist for another 5 years. She has worked with many choreographers within Australia and Internationally dancing works by Ohad Naharin, Mario Schroeder, Meryl Tankard, Natalie Wier, William Forsythe and Francois Klaus to name a few. Highlights include dancing all around the world in Japan, Singapore, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Taiwan and Switzerland with each country providing its own unique, valuable experience. Most recently Amelia has had the pleasure of re-joining the QB team, teaching both the Academy students and within the Education team sharing her experiences and knowledge of both the classical and contemporary realm.
