I’m currently a QB Friend member, will I have to pay the new membership fee of $75 today?

No. If you are a current member, you will only need to pay the increased fee for a QB Friends membership when your membership renewal is due (12 months from date of purchase). The fee increase to $75 is effective from January 1 2023.

How do I know when my membership is up for renewal?

You can discover when your membership is up for renewal by logging in with your membership email and password and viewing your profile at www.qbmembership.com.au

Why is the price increasing for QB Friends?

As Queensland Ballet steps into the future and expands towards its vision of making dance accessible to all, we want to ensure we continue to deliver the highest quality experiences for you and our members. It is the QB Friends fundraising legacy that inspired us to introduce new member levels and expand our membership offerings to provide more ways for new and existing members to support our company through membership.

You’ll be interested to know this isn’t the first time the QB Friends has expanded the membership offering or introduced a price increase. In 1997 the QB Friends had a Bronze, Silver and Gold Level of membership.
